Every single day, I do:
- 10 minutes of Treadmill at about 2.7 mph for about 0.41 of a mile
- 20 minutes of elliptical at a resistance level of 8 or higher to burn about 240-260 calories
- 10 more minutes of treadmill a little faster than the first time to get about 0.48 of a mile
- A cool down of hula hooping and dancing for about 20 minutes or so
- In addition to these activities, I also achieve and average of 5,000+ steps according to my pedomiter.
Basically, after 40 minutes of cardio I'm done, but I do enjoy doing a little dancing or hula hooping to use my athletic high to the advantage of my hips and tummy. Tonight was also skate night. Let me tell you - The Dan River smells like someone pooped with the door open at the ocean port-a-potty. I don't remember it smelling that bad last year.
I'm really excited to go bike riding at Bur-Mil this weekend with a friend's sister. I've never met her in person before tbh, but how in the world else am I going to get to know people?! It's not like she's a complete stranger and were just bike riding. I'm excited to meet someone new and get some exercise outside of my basement. Is that creepy? I mean, technically I'm the creepy one for asking her to go biking with me in the woods. Lol
I read online that Get Fit Eden does walks on Tuesday at 7:30pm at the park. I'm waiting to confirm that its every Tuesday. It'd be nice to go do that. Walking I can do. It's jogging that'd take a little work. To or row I'm getting my steps in by going to the Summer Reading Program with the kid. We're taking the bus *~*. I'm not sure how that's going to work out, but we could all use some fresh air. It'll be nice. There is talk of turning on the AC tomorrow. I'm finally breaking. The poor dog is just laying n the hardwood looking so tuckered out. When a Mexican dog is hot, its about time to turn on the AC. I'll be able to exercise much better with the air on for sure. My neighbors will surely appreciate the sound barrier if the basement door stays closed while I exercise. Sorry for party rockin' neighbors, but its either the grind of a treadmill or me shouting, "Turn down for what!...I'm so classy, you already know oh...All of you, loves allll of me..." Top 40's all the way, baby!
