I want to start off by showing what my stomach currently looks like. I promise, it's going to get better. You can almost see the top forming, so I think I'm off to a good start. Still, I wanted to document a before picture, as freckles and not toned as it may be (Please pardon the exercise attire). God, before pictures are embarrassing! I just want to tape this picture to the fridge so that I can think about it before I grab some cookies or a soda.
I'm doing crunches and push-ups. I don't really count my crunches. I just do them until they hurt and then I push a bit more. I guess I do about 15-20 full up and down whenever I'm sitting around. I like to make sure my chin presses against my knees going up and that I go into a full relaxed rest when I lean back. It just makes me feel like I'm doing more work, which is what I want it to feel like. With push-up's, I do six in a row. I make sure to keep my core as straight as possible, inhaling up and exhaling down. My ultimate goal is to be able to do inverted push-up's. I want to be completely upside down against a wall and pushing my body up and down. In order to do this, I'm doing floor push-ups, using a stool to do raised push-ups, and using an old coffee table in my exercise room to do even more raised push-ups.
So the picture above will soon be my old tummy. When I was researching how one might see results from abdominal exercise, I couldn't find any in between pictures. It was all before flab and after glamour. I'm going to document my abdominal changes so that I can share it with other petite/short-torsoed women.
