I know that the cholesterol in eggs are super high, but they're a healthier source of protein than meats. I was going to get some nuts for my salads, but all of them were super high on sodium and I can't afford any extra sodium in my diet. I'll stick to peanut butter instead of butter on my piece of toast. There goes my fat percentage for the day. Managing food consumption is hard. I'm not going to let it stress me out though. It's supposed to help me make healthy choices, not feel discouraged by my failures.
I got some Kix and milk for days when I don't feel like cooking an egg. I really want to dedicate myself to eating a healthy breakfast. I usually don't eat until dinner and then I eat one large lump of food. I'd much rather consume a healthy breakfast and eat smaller meals more often throughout the day because I know that's productive. I have cheese sticks, apples, carrots and peanut butter...as small snacks. My goal is, in some ways, to see how many foods I can cram in there while still staying under my goal. I can't make changes until I realize what's normal for me. Step one is to record a normal food diary for me and then to make small changes.
